My theoretical approach is cognitive-behavioral and solution focused. I am also trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy for children and PCIT.
My clinical interests include: sexual abuse survivors, domestic violence, school difficulties, adolescent issues, crisis intervention and depression. I also work with individuals that have been diagnosed with diabetes -helping teach better management and control.

My name is Cherry Weaver and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received by Master's Degree in Counseling from Amberton University in Garland, Texas. My specialized areas of practice include: chemical dependency, adult children of alcoholics/addicts, abuse issues, domestic violence, depression, grief counseling, anger management, couples/marital counseling, and group therapy.
I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy, which is based on the theory that our emotions and behaviors are influenced by our beliefs and thoughts. I also utilize "Motivational Interviewing", which is a trans-theoretical approach. In this approach, therapeutic interventions "meet the clients where they are at" in their readiness to change - utilizing the "Stages of Change" theory.
Demarque Mitchell, LCSW
My name is Demarque Mitchell and I
am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal
Justice from University of North Texas in Denton, and my Master's Degree in
Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington.

includes: children, adolescents and adults. I provide individual, group, and family therapy. I have experience working in a
psychiatric day hospital and an inpatient mental health hospital.

utilize an eclectic approach depending on the needs of each client.

Veronica Carbajal, LPC
My name is Veronica
Carbajal and I am a Bilingual (Spanish) Licensed Clinical Counselor. I
received my Bachelor's Degree in Experimental Psychology from University of
Texas at Arlington in 2009, and a
Master's of Arts Degree in Counseling from the Dallas Baptist University in
2012. In my Internship I worked with
Youth-at-Risk for Substance Abuse.
My client population
includes: children, adolescents and adults ages 6-95+. I work with
individuals and families. I started my professional career as a School
Counselor/Behavior Interventionist for over 2 years at a Charter School in the
DFW Metroplex where I serviced 6 Campuses and over 6 thousand students from
grades K-12. I then worked at Mind Above Matter and Millwood Hospital as an
Intake Specialist doing Assessments.
While at Mind Above Matter I also did individual outpatient therapy. I currently have a private practice at PSP
Professional Services, LLC., where I also work with all ages doing individual

My name is Jodie Bryce and I
am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree
from the University of Texas at Arlington. I also have a Masters in Business
Administration from Texas Women’s University. I work with children,
adolescents, and families in Spanish and English. I enjoy doing individual
sessions as well as family therapy.
I have worked in psychiatric
in-patient and out-outpatient hospitals, schools, community centers and
churches in the metroplex. I have training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Christian
counseling, Anger management, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and
Substance Abuse treatment. My clinical interests include depression, anxiety, domestic
violence, substance abuse, grief and loss issues, anger management, and music
and art therapy.
I believe that as humans we
learn better by doing rather than just talking. That is why, I incorporate art,
music and other hands on activities to help a client better understand the new
