  Gabriela (Gaby) Garcia, LPC
 
My name is Gaby Garcia and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor.  I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas Christian University and my Master of Science Degree from Texas Woman's University.  I have a PSY D from the USC for Professional Studies Distance Learning Program.
 
I provide counseling services in both English and Spanish.  My client population includes children, adolescents and adults.  I work with individuals as well as families.
 
My theoretical approach is cognitive-behavioral and solution focused.  I am also trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy for children and PCIT.
 
My clinical interests include: sexual abuse survivors, domestic violence, school difficulties, adolescent issues, crisis intervention and depression.  I also work with individuals that have been diagnosed with diabetes -helping teach better management and control.
 
  Cherry Weaver, LCDC, LPC
 
My name is Cherry Weaver and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor.  I received by Master's Degree in Counseling from Amberton University in Garland, Texas.  My specialized areas of practice include:  chemical dependency, adult children of alcoholics/addicts, abuse issues, domestic violence, depression, grief counseling, anger management, couples/marital counseling, and group therapy. 
 
I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy, which is based on the theory that our emotions and behaviors are influenced by our beliefs and thoughts.  I also utilize "Motivational Interviewing", which is a trans-theoretical approach.  In this approach, therapeutic interventions "meet the clients where they are at" in their readiness to change - utilizing the "Stages of Change" theory.
 


 Yalonda Pone, LCSW

My name is Yalonda Pone and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University  and my Master Degree in Social Work from The University of the Texas at Arlington.
 
My client population includes: children, adolescents and adults.  I work with individuals and families.  I have worked in a psychiatric day hospital for children and adolescents providing group and family therapy. I have also worked in a home health setting working with Autistic Children and in a school setting providing individual and group therapy.
 
My theoretical approach is cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution focused ;depending on the needs of each client. I am also trained in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy for children and adolescents. 
 

My clinical interests include: marriage and family counseling, school difficulties and behavior referrals, adolescent issues, crisis intervention, substance abuse, PTSD, trauma, anxiety, and depression. 



Demarque Mitchell, LCSW

 
My name is Demarque Mitchell and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from University of North Texas in Denton, and my Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington.

 My client population includes: children, adolescents and adults. I provide individual, group, and family therapy. I have experience working in a psychiatric day hospital and an inpatient mental health hospital.

My theoretical approach is cognitive- behavioral therapy and solution focused. I also provide trauma focused cognitive- behavioral therapy. I utilize an eclectic approach depending on the needs of each client. 

My clinical interests include: marriage and family therapy, adolescent issues, school difficulties and behavior referrals, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma (PTSD), anger management, and substance abuse.

Kimberly Slavich, LPC

My name is Kimberly Slavich and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Texas Christian University and my Master’s Degree in Counselor and Development from Texas Woman’s University. 

My client population:  children, adolescents and families. I have worked with individuals and families in psychiatric day treatment and in the special education setting within local independent school districts. I have provided individual, family and group therapy.

My theoretical approach is cognitive behavioral and client centered. I have training in sensory processing disorder.
My clinical interests include: anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment, school difficulties and behavior referrals, anger management. 



Jodie Bryce, LCSW 

My name is Jodie Bryce and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. I also have a Masters in Business Administration from Texas Women’s University. I work with children, adolescents, and families in Spanish and English. I enjoy doing individual sessions as well as family therapy.

I have worked in psychiatric in-patient and out-outpatient hospitals, schools, community centers and churches in the metroplex.  I have training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Christian counseling, Anger management, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Substance Abuse treatment. My clinical interests include depression, anxiety, domestic violence, substance abuse, grief and loss issues, anger management, and music and art therapy.  

I believe that as humans we learn better by doing rather than just talking. That is why, I incorporate art, music and other hands on activities to help a client better understand the new life skills discussed. I hope to journey alongside you and help you learn the tools you need to successfully navigate the storm you may be facing to find peace and wellbeing.

 


 


Tiffany Flores, LCSW

My name is Tiffany Flores and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Texas Christian University and my Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington.
 
My client population includes: children, adolescents and adults.  I work with individuals and families.  I have worked in a psychiatric day hospital for children and adolescents providing group and family therapy.
 
My theoretical approach is cognitive behavioral and solution focused.  I am also trained in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy for children and adolescents. 
 
My clinical interests include: trauma (PTSD), sexual abuse survivors, interpersonal relationship issues, depression and anxiety.

Marlene Filla, LMFT
 
My name is Marlene Filla and I am a bilingual Licensed Marriage and FamilyTherapist as well as a Certified PositiveDiscipline Parenting Educator. I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from University of Costa Rica and my Master's in Family Therapy from Texas Woman's University.
 
My clinical approach is Psychoanalytic Family Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. I am also trained in Positive Discipline and Level 1 of Gottman Method Couples Therapy. 
 
My clinical interests include: Couples therapy, family therapy, parenting skills, children development and attachment processes, adolescence, trauma, mood and anxiety disorders. I enjoy helping couples, families, adolescents and children improve their coping, communication and relationship skills, with a specific interest in the improvement of mental health within the Hispanic/Latino community.
 
 
Michael Contreras, LPC
 
My name is Michael Contreras and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree from The University of Texas at Dallas and my Master of Science Degree from The University of the Southwest.

My theoretical approach is cognitive-behavioral therapy but I rely heavily on an eclectic approach as well depending on the needs of each client.
 
My clinical interests include: marriage and family counseling, school difficulties and behavior referrals, adolescent issues, crisis intervention, substance abuse, PTSD, and depression. I facilitate numerous groups and skills training curriculums in various topics including adolescent first offenders, anger management, divorce and separation, parenting, and teen issues.
 
 
 Heather Bhatt-Davies, LCSW

My name is Heather Davies and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and my Master’s of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. 

I have worked in out patient, day treatment, and hospital settings. During that time, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations of a wide range of ages and counseling needs.

I specialize in working with children, adolescents and their families. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to address behavioral and emotional needs. I believe in working with the family as a whole to achieve positive changes.

My clinical interests include: depression, anxiety, anger management issues, school difficulties and behavioral issues. 




Kaitlin Tollison, LMSW

My name is Kaitlin Tollison and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker under the clinical supervision of Tiffany Flores, LCSW.  I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the University of North Texas and my Master's Degree in Social Work for the University of Texas at Arlington.  I work with children, adolescents and adults in my individual and family-group settings.

My main theoretical approaches are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy, although I do incorporate other approaches should this be beneficial for the client.

My clinical interestes include working with depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, parent-child conflict, grief and loss and children and families of divorce. 

Ankin Antossian, LPC

My name is Ankin Antossian, LPC, and I am a Texas Women’s University Graduate with a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.

I have 10 years of counseling experience with families, individuals, and couples.  I have also worked closely with children who have trauma related issues, and with inmates and their family members.

My clinical approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy, and I am a member of the International Association of Trauma Professionals.

I believe in joy, peace of mind, and resilience!  Everyone can experience it and keep it.  Allow me to help you pave the way to once again find these things and help you create your successful life.

I speak fluent Armenian and English, and can conduct sessions in the language of your choice.
