  Gabriela (Gaby) Garcia, LPC
 
My name is Gaby Garcia and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor.  I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas Christian University and my Master of Science Degree from Texas Woman's University.  I have a PSY D from the USC for Professional Studies Distance Learning Program.
 
I provide counseling services in both English and Spanish.  My client population includes children, adolescents and adults.  I work with individuals as well as families.
 
My theoretical approach is cognitive-behavioral and solution focused.  I am also trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy for children and PCIT.
 
My clinical interests include: sexual abuse survivors, domestic violence, school difficulties, adolescent issues, crisis intervention and depression.  I also work with individuals that have been diagnosed with diabetes -helping teach better management and control.
 
  Cherry Weaver, LCDC, LPC
 
My name is Cherry Weaver and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor.  I received by Master's Degree in Counseling from Amberton University in Garland, Texas.  My specialized areas of practice include:  chemical dependency, adult children of alcoholics/addicts, abuse issues, domestic violence, depression, grief counseling, anger management, couples/marital counseling, and group therapy. 
 
I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy, which is based on the theory that our emotions and behaviors are influenced by our beliefs and thoughts.  I also utilize "Motivational Interviewing", which is a trans-theoretical approach.  In this approach, therapeutic interventions "meet the clients where they are at" in their readiness to change - utilizing the "Stages of Change" theory.
 


Demarque Mitchell, LCSW

 
My name is Demarque Mitchell and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from University of North Texas in Denton, and my Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington.

 My client population includes: children, adolescents and adults. I provide individual, group, and family therapy. I have experience working in a psychiatric day hospital and an inpatient mental health hospital.

My theoretical approach is cognitive- behavioral therapy and solution focused. I also provide trauma focused cognitive- behavioral therapy. I utilize an eclectic approach depending on the needs of each client. 

My clinical interests include: marriage and family therapy, adolescent issues, school difficulties and behavior referrals, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma (PTSD), anger management, and substance abuse.

Veronica Carbajal, LPC

My name is Veronica Carbajal and I am a Bilingual (Spanish) Licensed Clinical Counselor.  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Experimental Psychology from University of Texas at Arlington in 2009, and  a Master's of Arts Degree in Counseling from the Dallas Baptist University in 2012.  In my Internship I worked with Youth-at-Risk for Substance Abuse.
 
My client population includes: children, adolescents and adults ages 6-95+.  I work with individuals and families.  I started my professional career as a School Counselor/Behavior Interventionist for over 2 years at a Charter School in the DFW Metroplex where I serviced 6 Campuses and over 6 thousand students from grades K-12. I then worked at Mind Above Matter and Millwood Hospital as an Intake Specialist doing Assessments.  While at Mind Above Matter I also did individual outpatient therapy.  I currently have a private practice at PSP Professional Services, LLC., where I also work with all ages doing individual counseling.  
 
My theoretical approach is eclectic with a strong focus on Cognitive Behavioral, Behavioral and Psychodynamic using different techniques and modalities like mindfulness, Solution Focused, and Person Centered with some holistic approaches.  I am also fully trained to use EMDR for clients that have trauma, anxiety, and pain. 
 
My clinical interests include: trauma (PTSD), interpersonal relationship issues, depression and anxiety, anger management, bipolar, ADHD, adjustment issues, and behavioral interventions.

Kimberly Slavich, LPC

My name is Kimberly Slavich and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Texas Christian University and my Master’s Degree in Counselor and Development from Texas Woman’s University. 

My client population:  children, adolescents and families. I have worked with individuals and families in psychiatric day treatment and in the special education setting within local independent school districts. I have provided individual, family and group therapy.

My theoretical approach is cognitive behavioral and client centered. I have training in sensory processing disorder.
My clinical interests include: anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment, school difficulties and behavior referrals, anger management. 



Jodie Bryce, LCSW 

My name is Jodie Bryce and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. I also have a Masters in Business Administration from Texas Women’s University. I work with children, adolescents, and families in Spanish and English. I enjoy doing individual sessions as well as family therapy.

I have worked in psychiatric in-patient and out-outpatient hospitals, schools, community centers and churches in the metroplex.  I have training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Christian counseling, Anger management, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Substance Abuse treatment. My clinical interests include depression, anxiety, domestic violence, substance abuse, grief and loss issues, anger management, and music and art therapy.  

I believe that as humans we learn better by doing rather than just talking. That is why, I incorporate art, music and other hands on activities to help a client better understand the new life skills discussed. I hope to journey alongside you and help you learn the tools you need to successfully navigate the storm you may be facing to find peace and well-being.

 


 


Michael Contreras, LPC
 
My name is Michael Contreras and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree from The University of Texas at Dallas and my Master of Science Degree from The University of the Southwest.
 
I provide counseling services in both English and Spanish. My client population includes children, adolescents and adults. I work with individuals as well as families.
 
My theoretical approach is cognitive-behavioral therapy but I rely heavily on an eclectic approach as well depending on the needs of each client.
 
My clinical interests include: marriage and family counseling, school difficulties and behavior referrals, adolescent issues, crisis intervention, substance abuse, PTSD, and depression. I facilitate numerous groups and skills training curriculum in various topics including adolescent first offenders, anger management, divorce and separation, parenting, and teen issues.
 
 
 Heather Bhatt-Davies, LCSW

My name is Heather Davies and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and my Master’s of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. 

I have worked in outpatient, day treatment, and hospital settings. During that time, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations of a wide range of ages and counseling needs.
I specialize in working with children, adolescents and I take a holistic approach in working with families to achieve positive changes.  While I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with my clients, I also have experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Applied Behavioral Analysis and faith based counseling. I enjoy creative expression and often incorporate art and play therapy in my sessions as well. 
My clinical interests include: depression, anxiety, anger management issues, ADHD and other school difficulties and behavioral referrals, adolescent issues, parenting and grief and loss.  




Kathryn Ogden Kraan, LMSW

My name is Kathryn Ogden Kraan and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker under the supervision of Tiffany Flores, LCSW.  I obtained both my Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Social Work form Texas State University.  I work with children, adolescents and adults individually and with families. 

My main theoretical approaches are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.  I am also trained in Trauma Focused Behavioral Therapy.

My clinical interests include working with depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, parent-child conflict, sexual abuse and trauma. 





Holly Campbell, LMSW

My name is Holly Campbell and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker under the clinical supervision of Tiffany Flores, LCSW. I obtained my Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. I work with children, adolescents and adults and their families.

Marie Steffens, LCSW

My name is Marie Steffens and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Bachelor of Social Work from Florida State University and my Master of Social Work from Florida State University. My client population includes: children, adolescents and adults. I work with individuals and families. My theoretical approach is cognitive behavioral and solution focused, as well, I will adjust my therapy model to meet a client’s needs. My client interests include: family conflict, domestic violence, survivors of physical and emotional abuse, postpartum depression and anxiety, relationship conflict, anxiety, depression, trauma, self esteem, as well as clients’ needing someone to talk to without judgment. 


Tory Woods, LPC

My name is Tory Woods and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.
 
My client population includes children, adolescents and adults. I provide individual and family therapy sessions.  
 
I have experience working with child advocacy centers, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities, correctional facilities, as well as the Texas Department of Family and Protective services.
 
My theoretical approaches are cognitive behavioral and solution focused. I am also trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy for children.
